I can’t believe that we are already into our second month of 2019 and so much had already happened that we as a fleet can be proud of. Lots of things have happened in the last month or like End Of Year Awards and Fleet Feedback to name two. Feedback will continue soon so watch out for a new item around it.
If you haven’t heard (how have you not?) Bravo, Obsidian, and Pegasus Fleets held a joint fleet simming convention over the weekend of the 23rd February called Project: Khitomer. I would like to just say wow what a night it was and how nice it was to see so many people there.
I would like to thank @katelidewij @harrington and @wolf for being awesome moderators for the night. Two of them even did a panel on the night as well as helping run things. If you didn’t get a chance to catch the panels, you can catch the transcript of the event here.
In light of this Obsidian Day date has already been announced and you can catch information about it on our facebook event.
We need everyone – players and COs alike – to submit news stories. These could be anything from an awesome mission on your sim to a great post you want to see everyone talking about. It also doesn’t take long to get them approved either. If you need assistance please contact either myself or @wolf as he is the Community Engagement Champion tasked with helping.
If you didn’t already know we also have the following social media that we manage. Every follow and like counts towards getting us out there to potential players.
This month we have seen a massive increase in engagement thanks to some really awesome content that we have shared from Khitomer Invitations sent out to the Star Trek Communities to the Discovery Cast singing musicals. It has been a lot of fun.
Long may it continue.
If anyone needs assistance with recruitment or social media please reach out I would love to hear from you. Please contact me on discord goldun#8667 or email comms at obsidianfleet.net .
We can work together for our future.
